Today, I wanted to introduce you guys to the Board of Governors, a power-rock trio from Chicago. BOG, which initially formed in 2008, describes itself as a blending of East Coast punk rock and Seattle-based grunge rock. The band, in its current state, was completed last summer and consists of Trevor Hougardy (lead vocals/guitar), John Marino (drums), and Frey Brown (bass). They are currently in the process of recording their first full length album which is slated for release by year’s end and plan on touring next summer . BOG’s music is definitely full of energy and passion. Their music takes you back while incorporating modern musical elements that give it a fresh new spin. Kyle C. Stilley
